Six steps to take control

Start with the steps that match your situation. Your personalized action plan is below.

  1. Stop contact Stop replying, do not follow new links and block suspicious contacts if safe to do so.
  2. Stop the payment Contact your bank or payment service directly using verified contact details. Ask about freezing access or reversing transfers.
  3. Secure your accounts Change compromised passwords from a trusted device, enable multi-factor authentication and revoke unknown sessions.
  4. Keep evidence Save original messages, dates, transaction references and screenshots. Do not publish private identifiers on public forums.
  5. Report through an official channel Use the country-specific agency below. Suspect-tip portals and formal police complaints are not always the same.
  6. Stay alert to follow-up scams Review account activity and be cautious of anyone asking for a recovery fee.

Prepare a record for your official report

Write down what happened while details are fresh. This is a local-only worksheet: nothing you type here is submitted to us, automatically saved or stored in your browser after reload. Download a private TXT or JSON copy, and reopen your own JSON file later to continue.

Never enter passwords, one-time codes, card PINs, recovery phrases or full payment card numbers. A downloaded file may contain sensitive information - keep it in a safe place. This is not a police report.

Review the message for personal details before downloading or copying. A local pattern check catches some passwords, tokens, payment-card numbers and one-time codes but cannot detect everything.

Only files from this incident worksheet, up to 32 KB. Choosing a file never uploads it. Import replaces the current fields only after your confirmation; notes disappear on reload.

Chile

The Chilean government service ChileAtiende explains how to file a crime complaint at a PDI unit. This procedure is generally in person, not an online report form. Preserve evidence and notify your bank after a loss.

Chile Investigative Police (PDI) explains its specialised cybercrime units and preventive advice. Its Cibercrimen information page does not submit a complaint by itself.

We show whether a link responded when it was last checked. This does not confirm that the page is accurate or that you can submit a report there. If the link does not open, visit the institution's official website directly.
